5-Hour Module 300: Strengthening Self Awareness and Self-Care to Reduce Burnout in Times of Stress (Module 300)
Module 300 introduces participants to the neurobiology of stress and the science behind cultivating self-awareness, self-regulation, and restorative practices. Participants will explore how these skills buffer stress, reduce burnout and compassion fatigue, and decrease reactive responses when supporting and co-regulating with children and youth.
This training invites participants on a reflective journey inward—sometimes described as “earning a PhD in YOU.” By strengthening self-awareness and regulation skills, providers build the internal capacity needed to remain grounded, compassionate, and effective, even in high-stress or emotionally charged situations.
